An exploration of moods, aural textures, & the placement of sonic objects in space with compulsive attention paid to the details of the sounds — much like hand-rubbing sculptures to soften the edges while accentuating the robustness of the figure. With no rules imposed as to the selection of instruments, melodic threads — often taking months to fully realize — were carefully woven into an intricate structure of mood, melody & rhythm, so that the collection seems to gleefully defy genre categorization.

In post-production, great care was taken to ensure that, at every instant of the listener's experience, any instrument at any level could be distinguishable & recognized for its contribution to a given piece. The result of this effort is a collection of musically thoughtful & moving episodes that can be enjoyed at many levels, from many approaches, from theoretical scrutiny to meditative ambiance.
